Jason Pullano
Highland Park Head Swimming Coach; The Race Club Elite Online Coach
Jason Pullano is a swim coach and teacher in Dallas, TX. He has been the Head Swim Coach and Aquatics Coordinator for Dallas Highland Park High School since the fall of 2022 where he also serves in a teaching role as a physics teacher. Pullano has been recognized multiple times as a District and Region coach of the year and is a Timothy Welsh ASCA Fellow (Class of 2022).
In the Fall of 2020, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pullano refined his coaching philosophy and began turning towards concepts of game theory, or “gamification”, as a means to engage and retain students and athletes. This approach caught traction in swim coaching communities and Pullano began sharing resources and presenting his methods on infusing game elements into traditional training at coaching professional development events such as the ASCA World Clinic, College Swim Coach Association of America Clinic, Texas High School Coaches Association Summer Coaching School Clinic, USA Swimming’s Online Coaching University, along with other contracted clinic work for several states and LSC’s. Additionally, he has been featured in SwimSwam’s podcast, the Ritter Sports Performance Podcast, and the American Swim Coach Association’s Doc Talk Series discussing his unique approach and sharing his resources.
